Aerospace honeycomb "Bee" aluminium drinks coaster

Pretty coaster to stand your drink on, in aluminium.

Want a chunk of aerospace aluminium sitting under your drink? The hexagonal structure is commonly used in aerospace structures (and looks pretty). It's then anodised black to toughen it up. Finally we reveal a cunning bee design, hidden within the hex structure itself!

All machined on a Brother Speedio CNC machine, from 6082 T6 aluminium, to exacting tolerances. Tool marks from the machining process have not been removed, but instead have been carefully optimised to create interesting patterns at the bottom of each of the pockets!

The underside is also carefully machined and has 6 cork feet to protect the coaster (and your table). The feet align with the top pockets so that multiple coasters stack together!
